    You’re on watch, intently watching the fog for a sign of a sister ship to gauge its location and avoid a collision. Suddenly, the fog breaks and the ship dramatically appears for a few moments – long enough to shout its location – and then, just as suddenly, disappears back into the fog’s cloak of invisibility.
