Newsflash: Judith Newton’s “Tasting Home: Coming of Age in the Kitchen” makes the cut
Tasting Home: Coming of Age in the Kitchen, a food memoir by iPinion columnist Judith Newton, was declared a finalist in the USA Best Books Awards of 2014. USA Book Awards, one of the largest mainstream book competitions in the US., considers entries from independent, academic, and large mainstream houses such as Penguin and Simon & Schuster.
Many chapters from Tasting Home first appeared as columns on iPinion. According to Newton “iPinion helped me learn to write for an actual audience.” This is the eleventh book award for Tasting Home.
