The election is over. Osama Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive. The stock market has doubled. Employment has steadily increased, more illegal aliens have already been deported than during George Bush’s entire eight years. We have healthcare, the keystone of his original campaign. We have better stock market and corporate rules in place.
If he was all white, he would have won by 20 percent.
Texas wants to secede. Adios, MFs.
Abortion. We have to compromise. Allow abortions in the first trimester, and only after that if the mother’s life is in danger. Period.
California has to make some tough decisions. We cannot continue down this path.
Why do we need CAL-EPA? The states should be able to set their own standards, and have the Federal EPA enforce them. Less redundancy…
The same goes for CAL-OSHA. States have separate rules, but the Feds enforce them. Less redundancy…
The California Highway Patrol needs a Reserve Officer program. How much do you suppose it costs each year for CHP officers to sit at Cal-Trans construction sites? Millions, and it’s a task that could easily be handled by Reserve officers. Or maybe your first three months after you’re done with your Training Officer, you are assigned to construction duty at a lower pay grade.
I will have an update on the United States Senate lawsuit soon. I am learning a lot.
John McCain is an idiot.
I am tired of hearing all the whining about a “war” on Christmas. December 25th is a pagan holiday chosen by Constantine as Jesus’ birthday 600 years after his death to help “unite the pagans and the Christians.” Some scholars actually think the descriptions of the night sky at the time of Jesus’ birth point to 9/11. Besides, the people who are waging a war on Halloween have no credibility in criticizing how people want to view Christmas.
You want to fix Social Security? Remove the cap on taxable earnings from which Social Security taxes are withdrawn. And never “borrow” from the fund. End of problem. Forever.
Conservatives are beginning to wage a war on yoga classes in the school because it is “atheist.” Personally, I think it is because they don’t want their kids to think either.
An NRA-backed bill that would curb the questions doctors can ask patients about gun ownership passed out of a House subcommittee Tuesday. This removes all doubt about the NRA…
Merry Xmas to All!!!! ☺
